My Yoga Background
I first tried yoga when I was about 19. I loved it and have been practising ever since. I did a yoga foundation course (accredited with the British Wheel of Yoga) and then a 200 hour teacher training course (accredited with Yoga Alliance US). I have nigh on completed my 500 hour teacher training- (just a little homework left).
I am also a Yoga Teacher Trainer and course leader, currently working with YogaLondon. I have predominately practised Ashtanga, Power Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga, though am partial to some Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra to balance it all out.

My Yoga Philosophy
I am a cynical, questioning, passionate egoist with a big bottom. How can I possibly 'do yoga'? Yoga is about 'finding your true self', whatever that means for you. For me, it is finding a moment to ignore the non-stop brain chatter that swirls in my head. I get on my mat and move and breathe and eventually, I find a fleeting moment where all I focus on is that movement and that breath and there is peace. And afterwards I feel wonderful.
