MY YOGA BACKGROUND

I first tried yoga when I was about 19. I loved it and have been practising ever since.

I started teaching unofficially many years before I did a yoga foundation course ( style: Hatha Yoga. Accredited with the British Wheel of Yoga). This led me to both a 200 hour & 500 teacher training course (style: Ashtanga Vinyasa. Accredited with Yoga Alliance US).

I am constantly growing and expanding my knowledge with a variey of trainings.

I am also qualified to teach Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Aerial Yoga, Hot Yoga, Animal Flow.

I am also a Yoga Teacher Trainer and Course Leader, and I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of students on their yoga journey. My years with YogaLondon, one of Europe’s prominent yoga schools, as well as collaboratinh with other training programs, have allowed me to support and shape many aspiring teachers with diverse approaches and insights.

Sandra has a way to make you feel great about everything you’re doing. She is knowledgeable and capable and shares her wealth of yogi wisdom without pretense, making everyone feel capable and enriched. I love it!

MY YOGA PHILOSOPHY

I am a cynical, questioning, passionate egoist with a big bottom. How can I possibly 'do yoga'?

Yoga is about 'finding your true self', whatever that means for you. For me, it is finding a moment to ignore the non-stop brain chatter that swirls in my head. I get on my mat and move and breathe and eventually, I find a fleeting moment where all I focus on is that movement and that breath and there is peace. Afterwards I feel wonderful.
